AGRANA Fruit US, Inc., is seeking a Key Account Manager to join its Sales team.  

The role of Key Account Manager is responsible for the management of the overall relations with the allocated customer portfolio. Responsible for the attainment of customer sales goals, sales forecasting, customer pricing, and gross margin. Responsible to Support the Head of NPD in management of team of developers allocated to the same customer portfolio. This position may be performed remotely; however, travel to Brecksville, OH headquarters and customers is required.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Elevated level of relationship management for the customer portfolio between the various functional roles in AFUS: NPD, Accounting, Quality, Production, Customer Service and Procurement.

 

  • Ensure a strong presence with the assigned customer base.

 

  • Accountable for the price negotiations annually and throughout the year along with optimizing gross margin and profit.

 

  • Guarantee the collections of AR with a target trial balance of zero.

 

  • Accountable for the forecasting of each customer portfolio, which needs to be reviewed internally and with the customers (customer education). Support the translation of forecasts into raw material needs for strategic reviews with the Sourcing Team.

 

  • Oversee potential customer quality issues, resolving with the Quality Team.

 

 

Fundamental Requirements:

Education / Training:

Bachelor’s Degree

Major: Food Science, Business, or suitable degree

 

Professional Experience:

3-5 Years’ minimum experience in Sales Role- preferably in the food industry.

Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
