Reports To: Director, Data Warehouse & Analytics

The Role

We are seeking a Lead Product Owner to drive backlog prioritization, business alignment, and delivery outcomes across a portfolio of software and data products. This is a hands-on product ownership role working across multiple Agile teams in a scaled Agile environment.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience as a Product Owner in organizations using Scrum@Scale and/or SAFe, with the ability to translate business priorities into clear product direction, manage competing workstreams, and coordinate across teams to deliver measurable business value.

Main Responsibilities

·       Own and prioritize product backlogs across multiple Agile teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and delivery commitments. Product Owners in the current operating model are accountable for backlog priorities and acceptance of delivered work.

·       Partner with business stakeholders, engineering leaders, architects, and delivery teams to define features, stories, and acceptance criteria.

·       Drive tradeoff decisions across competing priorities and ensure work is sequenced for maximum business value.

·       Support cross-team coordination and dependency management through scaled Agile forums such as weekly intake meetings and business prioritization through MetaScrum.

·       Participate in team sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, release readiness, and continuous planning activities. The current model emphasizes continuous planning, prioritization, and quick decisions rather than rigid program-level planning.

·       Help ensure delivered capabilities meet business expectations, quality standards, and release readiness criteria.

·       Communicate roadmap priorities, delivery status, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders and leadership.

·       Work across software, reporting, analytics, and data-related initiatives as part of a broader product portfolio.

What We Look for in a Candidate

·       Experience serving as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or equivalent Agile product leadership role

·       Experience supporting multiple Agile teams and managing shared priorities across a software portfolio

·       Strong experience with Scrum@Scale, SAFe, or similar scaled Agile frameworks

·       Demonstrated ability to manage product backlogs, define requirements, write effective user stories, and make priority tradeoff decisions

·       Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills

·       Ability to work effectively across business and technical teams

·       Scrum Product Owner and/or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification

·       Experience in software, data, analytics, BI, or cloud platform environments

·       Experience working in organizations with cross-team planning, dependency management, and continuous release practices

Compensation: 100,000USD to 160,000USD
