Become a Key Player as a Manufacturing Engineer II

You will support manufacturing and assembly operations to improve production quality, cost, safety, and efficiency during a 3–4 month leave-of-absence coverage assignment starting around October 1. You will work onsite on first shift at a single manufacturing facility and collaborate with engineering, production, and quality stakeholders to design and deploy process and equipment solutions. Your work ensures smooth day-to-day operations and successful delivery of capital and improvement projects.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

  • Plan and design manufacturing process flows, equipment, and tooling to meet product and quality specifications
  • Develop and implement process improvement projects focused on efficiency, material yield, safety, and cost
  • Provide engineering design support and guidance on design concepts and specifications to optimize manufacturability
  • Ensure processes and procedures comply with applicable regulations and technical standards
  • Investigate quality issues and recommend corrective actions to remediate production problems
  • Support deployment of capital projects and additional assigned engineering tasks

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

  • Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field
  • 2–5 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience
  • Ability to apply systematic, analytical problem-solving methods for moderate to complex issues
  • Experience with continuous improvement methods (e.g., pull systems, process mapping, JIT)
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM or other computer-aided manufacturing systems and standard business software
  • Working knowledge of data structures/database programming and data analysis tools
  • Ability to read and interpret moderate to complex engineering drawings and specifications
  • Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to multi-task

Pay Range

$41.19 - $51.49/hour
