Become a Key Player as a Materials Handler
You will ensure timely flow of materials from arrival through storage or shipment, supporting production and shipping stakeholders. You will work onsite on a regular first shift schedule (Monday–Thursday, 5:00am–1:30pm) and contribute to supply chain reliability and safety. Your accuracy and punctuality will directly impact inventory accuracy and manufacturing throughput.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Receive, unpack, inspect, and stock inbound parts and materials against purchase orders or invoices
- Load/unload trucks and prepare goods for final shipment, including posting weights and shipping charges
- Maintain records of received and shipped merchandise and reject or report unsatisfactory items
- Distribute materials to inventory and manufacturing lines and perform cycle-counting
- Operate powered industrial trucks, material handling equipment, and small hand tools while following safety policies
- Communicate and coordinate with team members to fulfill orders and replenish stock
- Work variable schedules and overtime as needed to meet operational demands
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of relevant materials handling or warehouse experience
- Proficiency with basic computer skills (MS Office, email) and familiarity with MRP/ERP systems for transaction entry
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- Experience with cycle-counting and operating powered industrial trucks and material handling equipment
- Ability to work in a structured, supervised environment and follow written and oral instructions
