Become a Key Player as a Production Assembler 1
You will perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly that ensures components meet quality and safety standards. You will support the production team on the 2nd shift (evenings), working onsite Monday–Friday in a consistent 5x8 schedule with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Your work directly impacts manufacturing throughput and product readiness for downstream operations.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts and components following established instructions and procedures
- Review shop traveler/route cards or uncomplicated schematic drawings to confirm sequence of operations
- Position very small parts under a binocular microscope using tweezers or fixtures and perform fine adjustments, bends, and soldering
- Bond or seal parts with epoxies and use ovens or direct heating elements for curing
- Conduct in-process testing and follow all safety policies and procedures
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; may work nights, weekends, variable schedules, or additional hours as needed
- Operate hand tools and light machinery as assigned
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- 1–2 years of relevant assembler experience
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints or shop drawings
- Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for small parts work
- Ability to perform basic mathematics and follow written operating/manufacturing instructions
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent related experience is preferred
- Willingness to use an industrial sewing machine as required
