Become a Key Player as a Materials Handler
You will keep materials moving accurately and on time to support production and shipping operations, ensuring parts and supplies are available for the team. You will work onsite on a 1st Shift schedule (Monday–Friday, 5:00am–1:30pm) and coordinate with inventory, shipping, and manufacturing stakeholders to maintain flow and quality. Your work directly impacts on-time deliveries and production continuity.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Receive, unpack, inspect, and stock incoming materials; check goods against purchase orders or invoices
- Load and unload trucks and prepare goods for shipment, including posting weights and shipping charges
- Maintain records of received and shipped merchandise and document rejected or unsatisfactory items
- Distribute materials to inventory locations and manufacturing lines; perform cycle-counting
- Operate powered industrial trucks and other material handling equipment safely
- Follow and demonstrate all safety policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; work nights or weekend overtime as needed
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- High school diploma or equivalent and relevant work experience
- 1–2 years of relevant experience
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, email) and familiarity with MRP/ERP concepts
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, write, communicate, and use basic math
- Skilled in using powered industrial trucks, material handling equipment, and small hand tools
- Knowledge of cycle-counting and inventory recordkeeping
- Ability to work within a structured/supervised environment and follow instructions with little supervision

Pay Range
$16.00 - $20.00/hour
