You will operate and maintain braiding equipment to produce quality braided hose and components that meet manufacturing specifications. You will directly impact production output and product quality by working closely with the direct lead, value stream team leader, and maintenance. Onsite, 3rd shift (11:30 PM – 7:30 AM), Monday–Friday.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Set up and operate NEB, OMA, and/or TMW 24/36 braiders according to specifications (braid ring height, tube guides, deck/puller gear, bobbins, carriers).
- Pull tooling and materials and track usage in WW3 system and Braider Logs.
- Inspect tooling and finished parts; mark defects/new preforms with correct tape color.
- Measure and record OD and pitch on the Hose Process Chart (SPC).
- Run braided hose through wash tank and stage for inspection.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow 5S practices.
- Report production issues to the direct lead and work with maintenance to resolve equipment issues.
- Perform equal or lower classification work and follow all safety and quality guidelines.
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to operate department braider equipment (NEB, TMW, OMA) and demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
- Basic computer skills and ability to read work orders and interpret manufacturing specifications.
- Ability to use and interpret measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, pi tape).
- Strong attention to detail, continuous visual/audio monitoring, and troubleshooting skills.
- Good math, reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work mandatory overtime and flexible hours; ability to stand for extended periods and meet physical demands.
- Must pass pre-employment screening.

- Previous production or manufacturing experience.
- Basic knowledge and use of hand tools.
- Experience participating in Lean Manufacturing or 5S initiatives.
Pay Range
$17.80 - $22.25/hour
