Become a Key Player as a Production Assembler 3

You will perform hands-on assembly and testing of electrical/electronic components to keep production lines moving and meet delivery commitments. You will work closely with production leads, quality inspectors, and other technicians in an onsite manufacturing environment (5x8 days, first shift). Your work directly impacts product readiness and compliance with customer specifications.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

  • Perform disassembly, assembly, re-work and minimal testing of various electrical/electronic equipment
  • Use electric solder equipment to IPC-A-610B standard and prepare wires, batteries, and apply conformal coat
  • Follow written and verbal instructions and complete work per specifications and procedures under direct/limited supervision
  • Conduct inspections of your own and others' work against drawings and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, orderly workstation following 5S standards and adhere to safety policies
  • Assist other departments with tasks, training, and development as needed
  • Be available for variable schedules, overtime, nights or weekends as required

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in an electrical/avionics manufacturing or testing environment, or completed OJT for at least 10 products
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for small parts work
  • Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and electric soldering gun; skilled at soldering to IPC-A-610B standards
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies and procedures
  • Basic math skills and problem-solving using existing procedures
  • Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs and perform light lifting from floor, table and shelf
  • Able to work all shifts and be available for overtime and weekends as needed

  • Experience with simple welding or brazing tasks

Pay Range

$16.00 - $20.00/hour
