This is an onsite, full-time LOA (leave of absence) assignment working a standard day shift (5x8).
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Administer customer accounts and review service/spare product requirements against purchase orders and maintenance agreements
- Log and manage incoming RFQs, verify completeness, perform cost and pricing analysis, and route requests for cost development
- Review draft quotations for pricing reasonableness, formatting, and consistency before customer submission
- Maintain price lists, quote logs, and pricing history records within the quoting/ERP system
- Track open quotes, follow up to prevent expired or stale pricing, and communicate status updates to customers and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate pricing and customer issues with quality, shipping/receiving, accounting, order entry, planning, and shop personnel
- Release repairs to production upon customer approval and update sales orders with delivery dates and repair costs
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities and suggest cost-reduction or process-efficiency improvements
- Support cross-functional or project team assignments, including pricing or proposal support
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 1–2 years of related college coursework, certificate, or job training preferred
- Four or more years of related experience in administrative, customer service, pricing, or product support areas is typical
- Experience preparing quotations, managing RFQ intake, and coordinating pricing workflows
- Ability to use standard business software and specialized spreadsheet, quoting, and database systems (ERP, MRP, accounting/pricing data)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to review quotes for accuracy and consistency
- Ability to calculate discounts, proportions, percentages, and quote pricing and to present information clearly
- Strong communication skills to respond to pricing inquiries and complaints from customers or regulatory agencies
- Ability to work with general direction and exercise judgment on moderately complex assignments
