You will perform nondestructive inspections that ensure safety and quality of aircraft and industrial engine accessories. You’ll work directly with production and quality teams to evaluate parts using radiography and penetrant methods, contributing to compliance and product reliability. This role is onsite across available 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts (shift options listed in the posting).
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Perform radiographic (digital RT) and penetrant (water washable fluorescent PT/FPI) inspections on commercial, military, land, and marine engine accessories
- Set up, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment; conduct tests and interpret, evaluate, and document results per approved Level III procedures
- Review hardware and document NDT results to assure compliance with quality requirements and applicable codes/standards
- Develop techniques or work instructions from approved procedures for digital RT and PT, subject to Level III approval
- Provide guidance and supervision to trainees and Level I personnel in certified methods
- Perform failure analysis, product development, R&D and production tasks utilizing digital RT & CT; reconstruct and compile data
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- GED/High School diploma or higher
- Meet NAS-410 qualification requirements and complete exams to certify as NDT Level II in Radiographic and Penetrant Inspection
- Documented NDT experience: minimum 1600 hours in radiographic inspection (including ~80 hours formal training) and 400 hours in penetrant inspection (including ~32 hours formal training)
- Achieve required exam scores (minimum 80% on general and specific exams; practical per Responsible Level III as specified)
- Ability to provide OJT records to confirm hours of experience
- Near vision 20/25 (Snellen) at ~16" (natural or corrected) and pass a color deficiency test
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident required)
- Ability to work effectively on a high-performing team and communicate clearly

Pay Range
$25.60 - $32.00/hour
