Become a Key Player as a Production Assembler 1

You will help the production team assemble small mechanical and electromechanical components to meet quality and delivery goals. Your work affects product reliability and supports manufacturing, quality, and production supervisors. This is an onsite role on 2nd shift (Monday–Friday, 1:30pm–10:00pm).

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

  • Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts and components following established instructions and safety procedures
  • Read shop traveler/route cards and uncomplicated schematics to confirm sequence of operations
  • Position very small parts under a binocular microscope and perform fine soldering, bonding, or sealing operations
  • Use hand tools, light machinery, and fixtures to adjust, bend, align, and solder components
  • Conduct in-process testing and follow safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; may work nights, weekends, or additional hours as necessary

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

  • 6 months to 1 year of relevant assembler experience
  • Experience with blueprint reading and the ability to read and interpret manufacturing documents
  • Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for working with small parts
  • Ability to operate hand tools and light machinery and perform basic mathematics
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational training or apprenticeship experience is a plus

Here's What Else Might Help You Out

  • Aerospace industry experience
  • Sewing experience or willingness to learn industrial sewing machine operation
  • Troubleshooting knowledge and experience

Pay Range

$17.60 - $22.00/hour
