Become a Key Player as an Assembler - Shift 2

You will assemble and test mechanical products to meet customer quality and on-time delivery goals, supporting production and quality teams on-site during the evening shift. This role requires training on first shift for approximately two months before moving to the 2nd shift (3:30pm–12:00am, Mon–Fri); work model: Onsite.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

• Accurately and efficiently assemble and test products to meet customer and industry standards.
• Use hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment.
• Record test results and document assembly data per instructions and quality directives.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, and customer requirements.
• Perform touch-up or full surface painting and part cleaning as required.
• Participate in lean initiatives and suggest improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
• Maintain a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area and follow safety procedures.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated according to the calibration schedule.

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

• Hands-on experience as a mechanical assembler or in a similar production/assembly role.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools, torque tools, and inspection/measurement instruments for precision work.
• Experience following SOPs, build travelers, or work instructions and documenting results.
• Comfortable standing for most of the shift and able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Willingness to train on 1st shift for at least two months and then transition to 2nd shift; open to overtime or weekend shifts if needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Here's What Else Might Help You Out

• Experience in ISO-certified or regulated environments (aerospace, medical devices, etc.).
• Exposure to LEAN manufacturing practices.

Pay Range

$15.40 - $19.25/hour
