Independent Contractor Opportunity – South America Growth & Engagement Consultant

WEConnect International is seeking an independent contractor based in Argentina to provide regional growth and engagement support across selected South American markets. This consulting opportunity is designed for a professional with strong experience in stakeholder engagement, outreach, communications, and event coordination, with the ability to work across Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking markets. The consultant will support regional initiatives focused on strengthening engagement with women-owned businesses, corporate members, and strategic partners.

Scope of Services
The consultant may provide services including:

• outreach and relationship-building with women-owned businesses across selected South American countries
• coordination and support for virtual and in-person events
• member engagement and follow-up support
• support for onboarding conversations with prospective and new members
• development of communications and content in Spanish and Portuguese
• coordination support for regional initiatives and market engagement activities
• preparation of periodic activity updates and progress reports
• collaboration with WEConnect International leadership on agreed regional priorities

Desired Experience and Capabilities
The ideal consultant will bring:

• experience in stakeholder engagement, program coordination, membership support, business development, or related services
• strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish, Portuguese, and English
• experience working across multiple countries and cultures
• ability to manage relationships independently and professionally
• ability to coordinate multiple workstreams in a fast-moving environment
• experience supporting events, community engagement, or regional market development
• sound judgment, responsiveness, and strong organizational skills

Preferred Background

• professional experience in communications, marketing, member engagement, supplier diversity, program coordination, or related fields
• experience working with business networks, membership organizations, social impact organizations, or regional initiatives
• ability to travel internationally as reasonably needed for agreed services

Engagement Structure

This is an independent contractor engagement based in Argentina. The consultant will provide services on a contract basis and will not be an employee of WEConnect International. The selected contractor will manage the manner and means of performing the services, subject to agreed priorities, deliverables, timelines, and coordination needs. Fees, term, and service expectations will be defined in a separate contractor agreement.
