One of the most prestigious litigation boutique law firms in the nation seeks an experienced Case Manager - Litigation to join its internationally renowned practice.  The position is located in Washington, DC and has a competitive compensation package that includes base and bonus.  

Primary Duties

The law firm combines a high-stakes, cutting-edge litigation practice and a pioneering public interest practice in one modern and progressive law firm.  The firm's highly experienced lawyers serve clients across a wide range of matters, including commercial litigation, white-collar criminal defense, and complex regulatory and securities cases. In addition to litigation experience, the Case Manager must have strong analytical skills with the ability to quantify data and produce metrics/reports using technology tools including Excel.  Duties include the following:

  • Support case teams as the primary point person and as part of a larger team, during all stages of litigation from investigation through trial and appeal
  • Actively participate in document collection and production, deposition preparation, hearings, and trials
  • Produce and analyze quantifiable data using technology tools including Excel
  • Conduct factual research
  • Organize and maintain case files
  • Utilize databases and e-Discovery solutions
  • Assist in drafting motion papers, correspondence, and other documents
  • Prepare and e-file documents with the court
  • Attend trials and court hearings


  • Bachelor’s degree with solid academic standing
  • Proficiency with Excel and other technology used for producing data reports
  • Minimum three years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm
  • Experience in all stages of litigation, specifically discovery and extensive hands-on trial experience
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about commitment to civil rights and public interest law
  • Flexible and energetic in a unique collaborative environment 
  • Excellent communication, writing and editing skills
  • Research ability and attention to detail
  • Strong initiative to problem solve
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure with unexpected and strict deadlines
  • Flexibility to work overtime and travel as needed
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of e-Discovery solutions
  • Based in the New York area or willing to relocate
  • Willingness to make a long-term commitment to the position
