SUMMARY/SCOPE
Liaison for technical, managerial, and administrative direction for problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and implementation for facility/equipment issues. Makes recommendations and advises on organization-wide system improvements, optimization, or maintenance efforts.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:The goal of the Facility Management Support is to establish a fully functional, safe and comfortable work environment conducive to a productive workforce. Back Office Facility support shall assist the Department of Navy (DON), Office of Financial Management Systems (FMS) management team in managing, executing, tracking, and reporting all FMS onsite and offsite facilities as it relates to coordination of facilities requirements, physical safety and physical security in coordination with appropriate stakeholders (Echelon I, II and II Commands, CNIC, NAVFAC, other Secretariats and etc.).

Description
Facilities Support
Track maintenance requests for service on a daily basis. Field repair requests, submit request to Public Works, monitor progress and ensure repairs have been made. Monitor heat/AC and submit service requests as needed.
Seating Management
Maintaining seating charts, identifying vacant seats. Ensuring seat has all necessary equipment, preparing and placing name placards on cubicles.
Communications support
Collaborate with FM&C and other relevant government stakeholders to ensure phones are operational and assist with phone functions including voicemail. Submit maintenance requests as needed.
Setup/configure conference rooms
Ensure conference rooms are set up with standard configurations to include projectors, phones, furniture.
Monitor equipment (copiers)
Monitor copy machines to ensure proper function and supplies and maintenance actions (e.g. toner) are done as needed. Submit maintenance requests as needed.
DRMO
DRMO equipment as directed.
Facility Walkthroughs/inspections/audits
Schedule and support facility walkthroughs, audits, inspections and appropriately respond to findings. Document findings, corrective actions and other issues/concerns.
Government-Furnished Equipment Tracking and Reporting
Track government laptops assigned to FM&C resources and contractors. Maintain records of government-furnished equipment and service requests to be used by FM&C for asset accountability and contract management purposes.
Furniture management
Coordinate with appropriate stakeholder to ensure furniture demands are met and excess furniture is stored and inventoried.
Emergency Action Plan (EAP)
Physical and Logical Access Management Support
Maintain and update the EAP in coordination with the NAVFAC Building Manager, as required.
Maintain and track up to 1,200 records of enrollment in support of CAC-enabled swipe access to FM&C workspaces: Coordinate with potential enrollees and operations team to add eligible personnel and delete ineligible personnel from enrollment system according to FM&C-defined criteria for eligibility.
Support and track up to 700 requests for logical access to Navy information systems through the coordination and drafting, filing, and submission of SAAR-N forms.
Experience and Education Requirements:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in facilities and/or IT related support for a federal agency.
- BS or BA degree in Business Administration or other relevant technical discipline.
- Must be proficient in MS Office suite of applications to include MS Word, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, and MS Excel.
- U.S. Security Clearance to the Secret Level
