The Senior Program Analyst will develop budget balancing strategies, obtain and analyze PBIS budget data for specific programs, and use knowledge of PBIS data to develop specific queries and input on issues. Special consideration may be given to candidates with demonstrated and verifiable experience at higher echelons of DoD, DoN, or other Federal departments/agencies operating in the national capital region.

Highly Preferred Qualifications:
 
  • The successful candidate must have five years’ experience in the development of high-level briefs, instructions, and policy memos.
  • Five years’ experience in Department of the Navy PPBE processes and POM development providing recommendations for balancing limited resources against competing requirements/priorities.
  • Five years’ experience reviewing, analyzing, and assessing fiscal risk associated with warfare programs
  • Six years of experience performing qualitative and quantitative financial analysis of defense programs at the headquarters or systems command level.
  • Eight to ten years of experience with Navy missions, operations, and weapon systems, particularly in aviation and air warfare programs is highly desired. .

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferably in math, science or engineering,
