The Scheduler will provide assistance and technical guidance to engineers/architects exercising construction oversight and design management of Capital Improvements projects, adhering to NAVFAC scheduling requirements. The incumbent will provide support during the design phase of projects, to ensure an appropriate construction duration is established for major projects or initiatives and will monitor schedules in progress to provide assistance in the case of schedule slippage. The team member will also develop, maintain, and provide scheduling training to the field office covering basic understanding of network analysis schedules, critical path method, time impact analysis, baseline, progress, and as-built schedule reviews, and software usage.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of construction scheduling experience utilizing Primavera P6 or its earlier versions.
  • Experience in preparing or analyzing Time-Impact-Analysis as it relates to time extension requests or claims.
  • Ability to evaluate Contractor’s baseline schedules and monthly updates
  • Registration as a Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) is desirable.
