Description
National telecommunications company seeks a Project Coordinator (Temporary) in Irvine, CA on a long-term, temporary basis for at least 12 months, possibly longer.  The hourly rate is $23 - $28 depending upon experience. 

Primary Duties

The Project Coordinator supports the RF Engineering group in Southern California with assigned projects and/or any of the following as assigned: updating Small Cell Node locations, equipment configurations and drawings, utilizing various internal system databases, assisting with financial and EME compliance tasks, corresponding and collaborating with internal and external groups, and assisting with various administration tasks. Responsible for tracking project deliverables and timelines, RF Engineering equipment configurations and communicating effectively through regular and timely reports highlighting variances as they arise. Additional duties are as follows:
  • Develops and maintains accurate and complete files for projects and programs and continues to monitor for integrity and completeness
  • Completes the updates in RF Engineering Node Configuration trackers and system with high accuracy and efficiency
  • Reviews of A&E Node Drawings for correlation with RF Engineering technical guidelines
  • Supports the RF team with MS Teams, SharePoint and company's internal Project Management System tool content including various project and/or program status, RF task forecasts, equipment configurations and process updates, etc.
  • Creates and distributes correspondence relevant to the team, project or program (internal and external)
  • Communicates all issues to management prior to reaching critical status
  • Provides inventory support for RF equipment including mobile phones, RF test equipment, antennas, node passives, etc. within the Region
  • Coordinates all tasks related to budgeting, revenue, invoicing and purchase orders through JDE, Oracle or CRM. Provide data entry to support management ensuring accurate tracking of budget
  • Supports the creation and tracking of system trouble tickets internally through Service Now or with the wireless service provider customers
  • Supports the compliance of ROW and venue nodes by coordinating and tracking the EME reports and signage
  • Supports the team with using the RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers to measure RF signals in the field
  • Uses other tools such as tablets with surveying capability to record node measurements and data from the field
  • Assists with preparation for various meetings including creation of technical design presentations and maps
  • Provides ad hoc reports and additional administrative support as required
  • Responsible for learning and growing in technical, organizational and leadership skills with the company and other 3rd party available courses
Requirements
  • Minimum of Associate’s degree in a technical/business field or equivalent work experience
  • Two (2) to five (5) years in a general business environment with project coordination and/or administration experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn a variety of tracking, project management and financial software
  • Ability to use macros, code or programming are a plus
  • Familiar or ability to quickly learn GIS software applications such as Google Earth and Map info
  • Able to use test equipment such as spectrum analyzers
  • Excellent organizational/administrative skills
  • Knowledge/understanding of basic Accounting/Financial principles
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic problem solving environment
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Customer service orientation with a strong problem solving approach
