The Digital Coordinator is responsible for the execution of social media strategies, and will work together with the production team at large for content creation &publishing.

This position is responsible for increasing brand awareness, driving audience engagement across a range of social platforms, and assisting production in the creation and publishing of content. The candidate must be able to navigate performance reporting and make data-based recommendations for strategy and execution.

The Coordinator is part of the production team and reports to the Director, Production. This role works cross functionally with the network and sales teams.

Base Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000

Description of Role & Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain brand presence on existing social media networks.
  • Manage day-to-day social media content & activities for all Blue Wire’s social platforms to drive engagement, content exposure, and talent deliverables.
  • Oversee the social budget and efficiently utilize spend to drive Blue Wire content consumption
  • Coordinate with social contractors and design lead to ensure a robust and engaging content calendar is in place
  • Create a content calendar that aligns with the network shows we showcase week-to-week
  • Be available for utility editing duties in the production department
  • Assist current social managers show-to-show by QC’ing and posting
  • Learn our YouTube and Snapchat strategies for publishing
  • Remain current with all sports news, teams, rosters, fan bases, brands and products, trends, and pop culture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
