We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Manufacturing Process Associate. In this role, you will provide support to our operations department by assisting with various tasks related to removing waste material and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
· Lead the draining process for reactors which include the operation of HMI, manual valves, purge systems, and material handling equipment.
· Empty waste drums using material handling equipment.
· Contact waste handler for swap outs.
· Prepare and stage feedstock for consumption by operations.
· Perform basic troubleshooting and identify potential issues or malfunctions in the process.
· Maintain a clean and orderly working environment.
· Follow established procedures and safety guidelines to ensure work is conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
· Maintain accurate records.
· Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively to ensure timely completion of tasks.
· Report any safety concerns, incidents, or near misses to supervisors promptly.
· Demonstrated ability to resolve process issues.
Education and Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Knowledge of basic maintenance techniques and tools.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
· Strong attention to detail and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
· Critical thinking ability.
· Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects or perform manual labor as needed.
· Ability to work outdoors for significant hours per day.
· Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations.
