We're recruiting for a Senior Marketing Strategist as a full-time job for an eCommerce manufacturing company in Jacksonville, FL with locations in Boston, Massachusetts, Austin, Texas, and Reno, Nevada.

The Senior Marketing Strategist role will focus to build, manage and inspire a global eCommerce manufacturing organization with responsibility for the strategy and direction of all corporate marketing programs. The position requires a commitment to innovation and demonstrable success in managing and executing marketing programs. This person must be very familiar with current market trends in eCommerce and have previous experience of driving transformation in their industry

Responsible for the strategic development of brand and revenue growth. This position provides direction in delivering best-in-class online shopping websites. Designs, launches and maintains the eCommerce platforms, digital marketing technologies, and drives innovation. Functional oversight includes digital marketing strategy, web operations, customer service, product management, web design, onsite merchandising and content management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the executive leadership and sales teams across our markets to create visibility around pipeline progress, as well as improvement programs.
  • Maintain and grow a strong marketing team culture and morale. Develop marketing leaders and their teams through a deliberate approach to career and performance management.
  • Defines and refines the eCommerce business and consumer proposition
  • Develop and evolve a comprehensive global marketing plan in conjunction with the leadership team.
  • Ensure the optimal management of marketing budget, focusing on careful prioritization of efforts.
  • Develop and execute customer-driven, prioritized campaigns to increase customer demand, sales, and positively impact awareness and momentum.
  • Innovate to deliver the right portfolio of products to touch top audiences and markets and to drive maximum impact.
  • Execute a data-driven digital strategy that intelligently drives goals.
  • Drive product and solution initiatives and new product introductions, setting and measuring performance against objectives.
  • Develops and implements an annual eCommerce strategy and business plan; delivering industry leading proposition and service
  • Defines the seasonal promotional, marketing and service strategy to deliver goals in a way that is fully integrated with the overall brand and business strategy
  • Delivers eCommerce financial targets including sales, costs, profit and eCommerce KPIs including conversion, customer satisfaction and website metrics. Increase consumer engagement and conversion using all available levers.
  • Directs the planning and execution of eCommerce development road map
  • Develops business requirements and works with internal & external project teams to meet scheduled deliverables.
  • Oversees all performance digital marketing plans and partners with brand marketing teams to drive strategies that deliver best-in-class customer experience.
  • Lead Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategic agenda to increase consumer retention and value.
  • Influences business wide strategy, process and system development to the advantage of eCommerce channel, balanced with broader business thinking and requirements
  • Provides leadership, ensuring the optimal performance of the eCommerce channel
  • Maintains and communicates to key stakeholders an up to date view of e-commerce trends and best practice
  • Leads a multi-functional team to deliver the agreed business plan and strategy
  • Creates and grows business-wide acceptance of eCommerce, and online marketing opportunities and development plans ensuring that the momentum to deliver significant change is maintained

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or in Digital Marketing or related field preferred
  • Defining proposition and business strategy
  • 5+ years of eCommerce experience
  • 3-5 yrs experience in managing / operating digital business
  • 5-8 years of management experience
  • eCommerce strategic development
  • Understanding and skills in best practice disciplines with eCommerce technologies, digital marketing, promotional planning, logistics operations, merchandising techniques and online consumer behavior and trends
  • Customer satisfaction insights and understanding
  • Business and strategic planning; Project management
  • Digital and Online marketing planning, evaluation and execution Disciplines and Field eCommerce
  • Experience developing comprehensive plans and executing flawlessly with an ROI mindset
  • Experience in building, executing and measuring data-driven marketing programs across online and traditional channels
  • Experience navigating across a highly matrixed organization, motivating multiple, dotted-line teams
  • A strategic thinker with strong tactical acumen

The Senior Marketing Strategist reports to the CEO, and the salary range for this role depends on level of experience. The job would be 70% B2B-focused, and 30% B2C-focused. The job will focus on eCommerce marketing growth strategies to help take revenue to next levels.
