The Product Marketing Manager drives content in a web first environment that meets Vantage’s strategy and data driven goals.  This includes managing the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements while working with internal/external partners to develop and deliver innovative content that will drive revenue targets and quality goals.

  This position is responsible for managing category expression by working cross-functionally to deliver content that tells a detailed story of each of your journeys, develop activation strategies and bring to light consumer insights. This position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Creative Services and works closely with Worldwide Operations team, call center, creative (in-house and agency) and regional leadership to drive cohesive, customer centric storytelling. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial self-starter with a passion for travel and familiarity with turning data into actionable insights to win market share.

Responsibilities

  • Mange the development of strategic content and marketing plans for your category initiatives 
  • Lead an integrated global go-to-market content strategy, including establishing timelines, communication cadence, product check list and templates
  • Manage the creative brief process to develop product story positioning; manage cross-channel category content in partnership with the creative team and web site team 
  • Lead the development of product marketing initiatives, working with product, creative, marketing, and senior leadership to gain alignment on major initiatives. 
  • Communicate with Worldwide Operations, Call Center and Revenue Management to ensure that product positioning and objectives are well defined and manage consistency of content. 
  • Partner with international product teams to build annual plans and ensure successful implementation of programs; ensure that regional needs and consumer nuances are communicated to the broader marketing division 
  • Ensure successful implementation of programs 
  • Leads, in collaboration with senior product creation leaders, the development of long term global brand strategies inclusive of key product and key marketing stories. 
  • Manage multiple projects web pages, multiple email campaigns and up to 200 direct mail pages concurrently, while meeting all deployment dates
  • Model strong leadership behaviors by presenting a highly professional
  • Drive 98% accuracy on all promotions with focus on positioning, pricing, offer and dates

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in a marketing discipline
  • Comfortable using data to drive decisions
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Proven ability to multitask. Must be deadline oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in change. Fast, flexible, cooperative work style with ability to reprioritize at a moment’s notice.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be a liaison between multiple groups throughout the organization
  • Minimum 1-2 years interactive experience
  • Team player
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Must have min of 3 years of Account Management/Product Marketing experience
  • Must be a problem solver who is able to work independently
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with travel industry is a plus
