Sales Floor Manager, Global Publishing Company, Contract-to-Hire

Our team is recruiting for a Sales Floor Manager for a Jacksonville-based publishing company as a contract-to-hire position.

The Sales Floor Manager is responsible for building and leading a team of Direct Marketing Sales Advisers who sell their products and provide training to both new and existing customers. He or she will be responsible for meeting and exceeding a sales quota by excelling at key critical success factors, including outbound calls, upsell/cross-sell and continued customer relationships in a call center environment. 

Sales Floor Manager Essential Responsibilities:

• Drive call center sales process via both inbound and outbound call strategies

• Develop and deliver scripts and training materials for new and existing staff, and make enhancements as needed. Coach team to follow proper call handling procedures.

• Monitor call center metrics (inbound and outbound) and initiate programs to increase sales.

• Develop and maintain customer confidentiality procedures and policies.

• Actively participate in strategic planning, and develop and execute annual business plan priorities.

• Grow your team

• Implement and monitor ongoing training program

Sales Floor Manager Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years sales experience with at least 3 years in call center sales environment and demonstrated abilities in profitable sales goals.

• Time management skills and able to multi task to meet deadlines

• Ability to effectively relate to and interact with all different types of customers at various levels, senior management and other departments in a professional manner

• Strong communication, presentation, leadership and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and reporting skills to read and develop performance metrics and reports

• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor
