Job Summary

The Senior Marketing Analyst is responsible for collaborating with marketing teams to gather and analyze data, optimize email campaigns, create reports and report out results, and support data-driven decision making.  This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis through database querying, subsequent interpretation, and refinement
  • Maintain and enhance a core set of weekly reports used to operate the marketing department
  • Manage, analyze, and optimize email campaigns
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of business drivers, business metrics definitions, and pro-actively interact with the business to give context and support the interpretation of reporting data
  • Work with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated and timely
  • Collaborate with business users to drive and analyze business campaigns such as emails, a/b tests, online advertising, etc.
  • Conceptualize and run analysis that generate insights on customer behavior and customer needs to help further developing our service to the customer
  • Partner with IT teams to support the development and enhancement of Business Intelligence infrastructure that supports the Marketing Department.
  • Monitor existing metrics, develop and propose new metrics, and work across the organization to make actionable intelligence available to business stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience CRM and Database marketing
  • BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related/quantitative field
  • Masters or MBA preferred
  • Exceptional analytical skills coupled with solid business foundation.
  • An innate aptitude for mathematics, logic, and data.
  • A positive and self-directed attitude – interested in problem solving
  • Advanced proficiency with SQL, relational databases, and Excel.
  • Experience with email campaign platforms and/or demonstrated aptitude for learning new tools quickly
  • 2+ years marketing analytics experience
  • Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills
  • MS SQL Server and TSQL preferred.
