Digital Marketing Specialist, Temp-to-Hire, Remote

The ideal candidate will be certified in HubSpot, Google Ads, and Google Analytics, as well as highly experienced running LinkedIn and paid ad campaigns. Industries of focus in the B2B space include travel technology and loyalty. The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for development, execution and optimization of integrated digital campaigns for our clients.

Digital channels may include social media, email marketing, online advertising, video syndication, outreach and distribution, website management, content creation, and mobile initiatives – with continual and testing and learning to determine the most effective ways to market our clients. The Digital Marketing Specialist role will also be responsible with marketing the agency. He or she will develop and distribute thought leadership alongside the content director and external resources to promote the agency's expertise and knowledge of specific industries. 

Digital Marketing Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Create holistic digital media strategy for assigned clients, including: Programmatic, Online video, Search, and Paid social
  • Lead measurement planning and reporting for digital media clients
  • Present plans and strategies to clients
  • Serve as internal expert for digital media
  • Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers).
  • Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.
  • Craft landing pages and lead generation forms for our content to distribute through relevant paid programs.
  • Collaborate with designers, product marketers, sales professionals, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audiences.
  • Manage both on-page SEO and off-page SEO for the company.
  • Collaborate with content marketing and blog contributors to create high-quality content around important, relevant terms.
  • Manage and improve organic search engine performance and goal-setting based on click-through rates, traffic, and conversions.
  • Manage various email campaigns, including the template designs, calls-to-action, dynamic scheduling and cadence, and content.
  • Segment lists based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc.).
  • Grow our subscriber base by providing them with regular, helpful content that’s aligned with their needs and interests.
  • Develop and maintain social strategies that identify and target prospective clients and influencers through content and POVs.
  • Run regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success (e.g., Twitter chats, LinkedIn discussions, etc.).

Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • A critical thinker with a creative approach to campaign development
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker with an ability to use data to inform all decisions
  • Self-starter who can work independently, generate ideas, and steward projects from concept to implementation.
  • 4-5 years of digital marketing and content creation experience required in the B2B space.
  • Extensive experience developing, running and reporting on LinkedIn Paid campaigns and Google Ads
  • Extensive hands-on experience with: Paid search, Programmatic, Online Video, and Paid Social
  • High level of strategic acumen
  • Proficiency in marketing automation and blogging software in order to generate traffic, convert visitors into leads, and then nurture them (using dynamic workflows) into converted customers.
  • Ability to optimize content for search engines and lead generation
  • Proficient in using CRM systems marketing and developing lead nurturing strategies
  • Highly competent using native social media platforms and popular third party management tools for Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook
