Our Group Travel department works to secure travel reservations on a larger scale by working with current and potential Group Leaders to arrange groups of 10 or more family & friends traveling together. Our lucrative incentive program (1 free traveler for every 10 paying travelers) and our expert Account Management and Marketing teams make this an easy sell and a seamless process for our guests. Group sizes range from smaller Family & Friends groups of 10-25 to larger Affinity Travel groups of 50-100. Travel Agency accounts are also managed by the Group Travel department.

Group Account Managers are assigned a geographical territory of existing accounts and are responsible for maintaining and growing their pipeline. In addition to securing Group Deals and sales from existing and new accounts, Group Account Managers work to provide excellent service by enhancing travel experiences through our suite of upsell offerings and complimentary concierge services.

Communications with Group Leader accounts are primarily via phone and email, with travel rarely required. Outbound sales experience and/or account management experience, phone sales experience, and excellent organizational skills are a must; travel industry experience is preferred but not required.

 

$75,000 base salary plus monthly commissions!

Responsibilities:

-          Make outbound calls on a daily basis as required to meet the minimum requirements

-          Minimum of 3 hours a day of outbound calling

-          80% of your time will be working existing accounts for resale opportunities

-          20% will be prospecting from warm leads generated by the call center and web leads

-          Maintain and re-sell existing pipeline

-          Grow territory pipeline by identifying and closing leads

-          Secure upsells and add-ons to maximize revenue

-          Supply customer support and service to accounts as needed

-          Complete administrative tasks to support current and new accounts

Minimum Requirements:

-          Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

-          3+ years outbound sales calling experience.

-          Ability to thrive in a dynamic, exciting work environment.

-          Detail oriented and hardworking

-          Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and presentation skills are a must.
