SESI CONSULTING ENGINEERS, founded in 1976, is a well-established, progressive, consulting engineering firm in Pine Brook, N.J. SESI has earned an excellent reputation for providing innovative geotechnical, site/civil, and environmental engineering solutions for owners, developers, and the construction industry in the NJ, NY, CT region. SESI is currently expanding to meet the needs of existing clients.

We are now seeking a dynamic individual with the following qualifications:

– BS (minimum) in Civil Engineering
– 2 to 5 years Related Geotechnical Experience
– EIT Preferred
– Good Oral/Written Communication Skills Required

TYPICAL DUTIES:

– Site inspection to monitor progress/conformance to specs and procedures

– May be expected to design portions of a project

– Make calculations, using engineering formulas and skills

– Instruct drafters how to reduce designs into completed drawings

– Perform research and write reports

– Use computer to run standard programs to solve engineering problems

– Must be familiar with computer-aided design

– Perform routine laboratory tests to determine various design parameters
