Summary

Coordinates food service activities of establishment by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Exhibit the Wally's culture and hold each team member accountable to those same standards.

Provide each team member coaching and assist in evaluations. Give each team member a path to grow with the company. 
Maintain and coordinate daily food operations to include cold food prep, bakery, made to order, meat carving, jerky, and beverage station.

Food safety is a top priority and must be coached daily with all food service team members. Ensures all necessary food safety forms are properly used including temperature charts and cleaning charts.


Work directly with inventory manager to ensure cross merchandised food products are stocked and displayed properly

Estimates food and beverage costs and requisitions or purchases supplies.

Inspects food and food preparation to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations.

Investigates and resolves food quality and service complaints.

Reviews financial transactions and monitors budget to ensure efficient operation, and to ensure expenditures stay within budget limitations.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises various team members. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Reports to store manager.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of  Word Processing software;  Spreadsheet software;  Project Management software;  Human Resource systems and  Inventory software.
