General Repair Technician

SSE is a leading technology company serving St. Louis, MO and Jacksonville, FL for over 30 years. We develop aviation courseware training, virtual training environments, technical publications, and supply personnel to the aerospace industry for some of the most advanced military and commercial aircraft platforms. We are seeking skilled General Repair Technician to join our team in Andrews AFB.

The General Repair Technician maintains equipment and systems by removing, replacing, repairing or upgrading components. Troubleshoots problems to isolate faulty components. Conducts complex functional tests by operating equipment and using appropriate test equipment. Performs a variety of inspections as required by equipment maintenance documents. Documents maintenance and inspection actions as required. Trains and resolves problems for less experienced technicians. Works under general direction.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Prefer experience with logistics systems in the military
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team with diverse cultures
• “This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.”
• US Secret Clearance is required to start
