Thompson is seeking a high-level executive leader to join our operations leadership team as the Vice President of Family Support Services. This leader will oversee multiple books of business at Thompson including Foster Care statewide, Family Education and the Friends of the Children program.
The Vice President of Family Support Services must be a highly driven and high energy person, completely self-motivated to achieve and exceed target goals.
This person must be an exceptional communicator, and be someone who is fast and flexible.
They must have the ability to recruit, select, nurture and develop program directors and supervisors. The ideal candidate would have both excellent clinical/social work instincts and abilities while also having high level business savvy. This person will establish a culture of excellence in their programs.
Some travel is expected as this person will be establishing and maintaining relationships with other leaders across the provider network, managed care, child welfare and juvenile justice systems.
A masters degree at a minimum is required. Leadership experience in the field of human services is a must. Direct experience in Foster Care is heavily preferred, given that program will be the largest book of business overseen by this leader.
This position will report directly to the Chief of Programs and will be a top tier leader within the organization.
