Senior Manager/Email Marketing

This candidate is responsible for managing and working on Vantage’s entire email program including promotional/sales, CRM, trigger, corporate announcements and content E-mail.  This critical position will consistently review and make improvements to campaigns and triggers to achieve set KPIs.   The role will collaborate with other key marketing teams such as analytics, product marketing, creative and web to build out best customer engagement and experience.  This role will report to Director of Marketing.

This is not a remote position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal clients to develop requirements, develop schedules and see projects through successful testing and launch.
  • Manage and execute on entire email program
    • Design, build, and execute emails using Salesforce email platform
    • Troubleshoot technical issues (source code, etc.) within e-mail templates.
    • Program dynamic data content within e-mails.
    • Build campaigns that are aligned to key customer segment initiatives
    • Continuously test across campaigns including subject lines, content, CTAs, and templates
    • Identify gaps in segment and marketing strategies related to email and recommend action
    • Work closely with analytics team to identify trends, performance improvements and optimization of email campaigns
  • Analytics/Reporting
    • Utilize Google Analytics and Salesforce to understand email performance and recommend improvements to campaigns and triggers to achieve goals.
    • Regularly report to key departments on key email KPIs and progress toward goals as well as improvements or testing being done.

Qualifications

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree and more than five years of relevant interactive marketing experience
  • Previous management of high performing teams
  • Knowledge of email/CRM campaign platforms especially Salesforce
  • Ability to lead teams with effective prioritization and organization
  • Strong proficiency in digital trends and best practices
  • Experience with web analytics tools especially Google Analytics
  • Strong leadership skills including effective communication, collaboration and decisiveness
  • Experience in travel/hospitality marketing preferred
