Majority Strategies is recruiting for a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer as a contracted position in Jacksonville, FL. The incumbent will be considered a 1099 contractor. 

Position Overview: The Graphic Designer role will report to the Creative Design Manager. The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically with Photoshop and InDesign. This person should have extensive experience using layers and asset libraries in Adobe Creative Suite programs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Executes and updates print and/or digital layouts that follow an established creative approach using client or company supplied assets (this includes stock site assets) 
• Revises already designed layouts intended for print, digital or both uses that adhere to established creative theming and/or client’s brand guidelines 
• Prepares design files according to specifications and execution requirements for print and digital media 
• Compiles and organizes daily totals of work product to ensure complete records of daily productivity 
• Makes changes, compiles and archives project files as requested 

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years layout experience in a professional medium-high volume production environment 
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred 
• Expertise in After Effects and Adobe XD, Web design and motion graphics a plus
• Technical expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud, expertise with design and digital production software, maintains knowledge and team skills by taking advantage of available and scheduled training 
• Print publication and digital layout and design execution 
• Standard commercial printing requirements and best practices as it relates to file preparation 
• MAC computer required to access the network
