Summary/Objective
Senior Financial Analyst role with an accounting dimension in support of compliance with GAAP and Federal Acquisition Regulations. This position is primarily focused on contributing to the accounting and financial reporting requirements of the company.


Essential Functions

1.    Responsible for generating complex government billings for T&M, Firm Fixed Price, Progress Payments, Milestones and Cost-Plus contracts, to include supporting schedules.
2.    Compare actual contract expenses against contract funding for accuracy (period of performance, funding, billing rates).
3.    Online invoice submission of electronic invoices into Wide Area Workflow.
4.    Assist Program Managers with the review of contract expenditures and program reports. Prepares project financial performance reports and provides analysis on the performance.
5.    Support month-end and fiscal year end close, reporting, and analysis of financial performance.  Reviews and maintains underlying data to ensure the accuracy of financial reports.
6.    Prepares monthly/quarterly internal financial reports and prepares explanation of changes in financial performance.
7.    Compiles and prepares data to support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting. 
8.    Assist with relevant accounting and finance subject matter research and special projects as needed, such as preparation of annual Incurred Cost Report schedules.
9.    Assist with other items as assigned.

Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in accounting and three or more years of experience in public accounting/finance role is required. Candidates must have knowledge of and experience with US GAAP. CPA license is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will require little to no supervision and must be able to produce work product free of material errors or omissions. Experience with Deltek CostPoint, WAWF, Federal Acquisition Regulations, Government Contracting and billing is preferred. This position also requires the ability to interpret and analyze government contracts including T&M, Cost Plus, and FFP billing. Candidate should be detail oriented with the ability to prioritize tasking, projects and responsibilities. Must possess excellent time management skills.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have authority or responsibility for the supervision of others.

Work Environment, Programs, and Tools
While working in a casual office environment, this position will frequently be required to sit, talk, listen, use eye acuity, and use hands/fingers to grasp or type. This position will also occasionally require walking and standing. This position will also frequently require the individual to use the following tools, equipment, or programs: Computer, printer/scanner/fax, Microsoft Office suite, Wide Area Work Flow, and Deltek Costpoint.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position will be in Tallahassee, FL and will require adherence to core business hours. This position is a full-time salaried position, expected to work no less than 80 hours per payroll period. This position may require evening/weekend work and work outside of regular business hours of operations when needed to support Program or Corporate needs.

Travel
Must be willing and able to travel. Significant travel is not expected for this position.
