The Opportunity

We seek a highly experienced data maven who will transform our current analytics and reporting package into an informational candy store. Our marketing and sales data is the backbone of our success. You will provide exceptional insight and make consequential revenue generating recommendations for our Call Center, Groups Department, Referral Campaign Director, Yield Management Group and Marketing Team.

What You Will Do

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company’s revenue triggers and use database mining to spur insight and innovation.
  • Enforce data integrity and analyze business performance linked to multiple sources.
  • Construct budgets and forecasts for department lines of business.
  • Eliminate sales barriers, inefficient manual processes and unnecessary reports / analysis.
  • Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to address business issues and revenue opportunities.
  • Work with complex datasets and tease out patterns, then clearly present and act on them.
  • Communicate project progress across teams, stakeholders and executives.

Who You Are:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in an analytical role.
  • Travel background with a cruise line, hotel, airline, agency or tour operator preferred but not required. Call center operations experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree (math, economics, operations, engineering, statistics, business, marketing). Master’s Degree a plus.
  • Expert in Excel. Comfortable with SQL, Python or other query / scripting language. Experience with Tableau a plus.
  • Eager to work with new tools and technologies.
  • Proactive, independent and comfortable working in a fast-paced, numbers driven environment.
  • Short and long-term project management experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and present to all levels including senior management.
