The Position:
We’re looking for a full-time accountant with non-profit finance experience, a strong attention to detail, and someone who is eager to contribute to the success of the team! 

Essential Job Duties:

  • Preparing invoices to be sent to different community vendors, cities and county offices
  • Prepare and maintain accurate spreadsheets 
  • Accurately code expenses
  • Reconcile project expenses 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 3 years of related experience
  • Non-profit accounting experience highly preferred 
  • Proficient with Excel 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  •  Ability to carry out job duties with a high level of accuracy 
  • Must continuously demonstrate ability to work effectively, cooperatively, and harmoniously
  • Ability to work independently and to plan and organize work effectively

Physical Requirements:

While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following: 

  • Using personal computer, keyboard, mouse and monitor
  • Writing, reading, speaking in English
  • Observation and problem solving; hearing, seeing, reasoning and decision making
  • Ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations
