The Role:

Geronimo is seeking someone be responsible for supporting and leading development of renewable generation projects from the project origination stage through advanced development and permitting.  The role will develop solar projects in their region

 

What You are Actually Doing: 

 

• Lead land acquisition and negotiations in support of utility scale wind and solar projects

• Manage relationships and build support for projects with stakeholders; including landowners, elected officials, governmental staff, and community leaders to support project development

• Work with internal resources, such as the Real Estate, Permitting, Construction, Finance, and Resource Analysis teams to advance projects to construction-ready

• Participate in policy outreach efforts to government officials regarding regulatory and permitting issues

• Interact directly with company leadership and external executives, must be comfortable presenting to and working with executives

• Prepare, maintain and present project status updates, market analysis, and business cases as directed

• Assist in RFP responses, interconnection requests and other commercial needs as they arise

• Travel: 30-50%

 

What You Bring to the Table:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or comparable real estate experience

• 1-3+ years of project management experience in the energy, construction, real estate development, or relate industry

• Proficient in Microsoft Office software; Excel, and PowerPoint, additionally, be comfortable working across multiple software platforms
