What You Will Actually Be Doing:

• Origination of Power Purchase Agreements

• Getting in front of customers to identify opportunities for current and future projects

• Leading commercial and business development activities

• Identifying new market opportunities and strategies to sell renewable energy projects

• Creating new and build upon existing key relationships with IOUs, Public Power and C&I off-takers

• Leading PPA contract negotiations with large utility and corporate customers

 

What You Bring To The Role: 

• 5+ years related experience in renewable energy origination sales

• Strong record of success closing at least 1000 MW of solar and/or wind energy transactions as the lead originator

• Relationships with multiple customers including Commercial and Industrial accounts, Investor Owned Utilities, COOP and other Public Power clients

• Demonstrated experience with utility-scale energy procurement structures and transactions

• Knowledge of energy markets including familiarity with regulatory policies, rates and tariffs, electric transmission, pooled markets, natural gas power and renewable energy generation technologies including wind and solar

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics, renewable energy or similar discipline. MBA preferred, but not required
