National Grid Renewables is seeking an Associate Developer to support utility-scale renewable project development activities and program management for the pipeline of projects within the assigned market.

 

Duties

  • Work closely with Geronimo Energy’s Development team on various items needed to develop renewable projects across the US.
  • Conduct solar site selection and screening.
  • Work with interconnection team to manage interconnection processes in support of project development.
  • Follow policies and regulatory changes to identify market issues and solutions.
  • Lead site acquisition, key negotiations and management of contract land staff.
  • Support the permitting team on obtaining entitlements (land use permits, etc.) for projects.
  • Conduct research on local land use ordinances, tax structures, and tariffs.
  • Interface with engineering and construction teams.
  • Interpret technical engineering, environmental, and other reports and studies.
  • Develop engineering estimates, scopes of work, and project schedules.
  • Complete administrative duties as required.
  • Attend evening meetings and public hearings.
  • Travel up to 40% of the time.
