Information Systems Security Specialist

We are seeking talented Information Systems Security Specialist (ISSS) to join our quality service team in our St. Louis, MO location. This position supports the Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) Program, which evaluates technology, processes, procedures, operating environment, and people. ConMon maintains ongoing awareness of information security, vulnerabilities and threats to support organizational risk management decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform ConMon activities based on frequency, gathering evidence via reports, screenshots, data exports and storing that data in an organized fashion
• Support Cybersecurity operations by monitoring alerts and responding to security incidents per established policies and best practices.
• Maintain responsibility for opening incident remediation tickets and tracking completion of the incident.
• Coordinate the flow of information between different business organizations within the client enterprise, including clearly communicating the status of incidents to the leadership team for incident response and reporting. 
• Coordinate with partners on both incident handling and resolution as well as reporting necessary to support ConMon evidence.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent years of experience and education
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and networking fundamentals
• Experience with network protection and monitoring tools; Crowdstrike experience desired
• Knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems
