Summary
The Assistant Manager of Marketing works closely with the Marketing Manager, other firm leadership, outside vendors, and consultants to implement the marketing strategy of the firm. This person will showcase and promote SESI’s and EcoStable’s services and values.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
   

Digital Marketing
  • Create and edit polished graphic assets and engaging copy for use across a wide variety of social media channels, posts, videos, and websites
  • Manage social and Google Analytics, SEO, and PPC advertising
  • Collaborate with Senior Marketing Manager and other firm leadership to create marketing and advertising material (e.g., brochures, newsletters, resumes, case studies, testimonials, etc.)
  • Manage social media accounts including researching topics and creating copy and images
Marketing Collateral 
  • Contribute to creation of assets for internal branding initiatives and campaigns
  • Apply editor-level grammar, spelling, to communications and marketing materials
  • Ensure website is up to date with relevant content and design
  • Collaborate with vendors, as needed, to ensure branding meets standards
  • Develop presentations to market new and existing products and services
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts
External Marketing Efforts
  • Supervise database of client contact information and distribution lists, to further marketing activities
  • Evaluate, coordinate, and execute sponsorship opportunities
  • Identify award opportunities and manage the application process
  • Prepare, attend, and assist with conventions, career fairs, and similar events
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute email and paper mailing campaigns
Personal and Team Development
  • Supervise Marketing Assistant/Intern, if required
  • Manage marketing administrative tasks to ensure the accurate and timely completion of initiatives and other related projects as assigned.
  • Help facilitate requests and asset distribution with internal teams where appropriate
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to develop strategic marketing knowledge and experience
  • Organize and oversee monthly business development meetings and encouraging employee involvement ​​​​​​
  • Plan and coordinate networking opportunities, manage list of attendees

Supervisory Responsibilities
This job may have supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Five years or more of experience in a related field.
  • Proficient Adobe skillset, focused on Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Proficient in managing SEO, web analytics, and social analytics
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

Work Environment
SESI offers a hybrid work policy. Due to the collaborative nature of this role, it is important that this team member’s regular working schedule aligns with the company’s and fall within 8AM-5:30PM. There will be 5-10% travel, this may include overnight and/or out-of-state travel. There may be times where tasks fall on nights.
