    Thompson is seeking a Program Supervisor to join our growing team. 

    Thompson is a leading provider of clinical and prevention services for children and families across North Carolina. The Charlotte, N.C. based, nationally accredited nonprofit agency changes the lives of at-risk children and families through early childhood services, family stability programs and mental health treatment. Thompson is growing, now with locations and services that stretch from Wilmington to Asheville.

    Thompson is launching a new, unique residential program in 2021 to serve adolescents who are in need of short-term, crisis stabilization. These are adolescents with a significant history of trauma who need a trauma-informed environment, high quality treatment and the power of a stable, therapeutic relationship with staff. The Program Supervisor will be the primary leader responsible for the safe and successful operation of this program. The Program Supervisor is expected to cultivate a culture that exemplifies Thompson’s values. The Program Supervisor will provide leadership, training, guidance, strategic and operational oversight of the day to day operations while also maintaining external stakeholder relationships and constantly pushing the program towards the future. This position will be a part of Thompson’s programmatic leadership team and in turn will be invested in significantly but also expected to be heavily invested in the organization. 

    Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a human services/psychology/social work-related area of study. Three years of experience in the field. Previous leadership experience is strongly preferred.
