PSYCHOLOGIST

Catalpa Health is seeking a pediatric psychologists specializing in the assessment of children and adolescents presenting with a wide range of developmental and psychological conditions, with common reasons for referral including attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay/intellectual disability, learning disability, and anxiety/mood disorders. Candidates with specialty training and experience in early childhood and/or autism spectrum disorder preferred. Specialization in neuropsychology is a plus.

Catalpa Health is a not-for-profit outpatient behavioral health clinic providing a continuum of mental health, wellness, and preventative services to children and adolescents, as well as their families in northeastern Wisconsin. Formed through collaboration of three major hospital systems in the area (Ascension Wisconsin, Children’s Wisconsin, and ThedaCare), Catalpa Health is rooted in multidisciplinary care and community partnerships. Our approach to care is family centered, utilizing empirically based, trauma informed, and culturally sensitive interventions.

Catalpa Health currently has a team of five psychologists (three neuropsychologists and two pediatric psychologists) that work closely with psychiatry and our over 50 licensed master’s level clinicians. We have several psychotherapy programs, including specialized treatment for anxiety based disorders, trauma, and early childhood. There may be opportunity for the candidate to have psychotherapy be part their practice. Additional opportunities include supervision and provision of continuing education trainings to master’s level clinicians. Additional multidisciplinary experiences include collaboration with schools, primary care, and other medical teams.

Qualified candidates will have a doctoral degree in psychology from clinical or counseling psychology program (APA accreditation preferred), including completion of a pre-doctoral internship. Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship with specialty training in psychological assessment is expected and encouraged. Must be licensed or license eligible in the state of Wisconsin.
