Human Resources Generalist

 

PB Loader Corporation/American Grape Harvesters, a leading manufacturer of Truck-Mounted Loaders, Grape Harvesters, and related equipment, seeks an enthusiastic and career-minded Human Resources Generalist to join its dynamic team in Fresno, California. Responsible for recruiting and new hire onboarding, this key position will ensure the company is fully staffed to meet production demands and customer service expectations.

 

Essential Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Enforcing all HR policy and procedures and ensuring compliance
  • Managing the recruitment process
  • Posting vacancies through appropriate recruiting platforms
  • Assist with employee training, development, and maintain training records
  • Working with outside HR firm to complete reference and background checks
  • Maintain employee files, including Human Resource Information System (HRIS) data

 

The desired candidate will possess these qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Minimum of three year of experience in a Human Resource position or
  • Five-years’ work experience in recruiting, compliance, and safety
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and ability to incorporate into policies, procedures, and practices
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain compliant employee personnel files
  • Exceptional verbal / written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of employees
  • A valid California Driver’s License is required.
  • Ability to speak, read, write and translate documents in Spanish is a plus!
