JOB SUMMARY
We are searching for a Product Manager to join our internal software development team focused on the design and build of our IntElligo platform. IntElligo is a proprietary platform which serves as a patient recruitment, eSource, clinical trial management and financial management solution for Elligo’s unique Goes Direct approach to clinical research.
The Product Manager at Elligo is responsible for all facets of the product, from strategy to delivery to end user support. You will be successful if you have a strong sense of ownership, pay attention to the details, enjoy driving initiatives to closure, and can effectively operate in both technical and business-oriented settings. If you also identify with the mission to improve healthcare and clinical research, then Elligo will be a great match.
As part of the technology solutions team, you will participate in Agile software development and have the opportunity to wear many different hats. Multi-tasking must be a strength. We are a small, dynamic team that can adapt to changing business needs and deliver quickly, led by the Product Manager.
This position is located in Austin, TX.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Work with product leadership to understand and define business strategy in order to help craft and maintain a product roadmap.
· Translate business objectives into requirements and user stories.(end users, Stakeholders, drafting requirements, documenting specs, communicating needs to engineers)
· Contribute to functional and visual workflow design.
· Keep product backlog appropriately prioritized and groomed.
· Serve as a Product Owner and/or Scrum Master where needed in order to drive software development efforts (prioritize needs across different departments, overall business comprehension, analytical)
· Document new release features and help train users.
· Gather feedback from internal and external users and track core product metrics.
· Serve as the subject matter expert for stakeholders and an escalation point for production troubleshooting and support activities.
· Work directly with software and QA engineers in an open, collaborative environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
· 3-5 years of product management or related experience.
· Experience with agile development methodologies.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Background in healthcare or life sciences is a plus. (nice but optional)
· Knowledge of SQL is a plus. (nice but optional)
