What We're Looking For:

 

National Grid Renewables is seeking someone responsible for leading community outreach in support of its renewable development efforts in the State of Ohio.

 

What You'll Do:

 

  • Lead National Grid Renewables community outreach efforts in support of its solar development throughout the state of Ohio
  • Manage relationships and build support for projects with stakeholders; including elected officials, governmental staff, and community leaders to support project development
  • Engage NGO’s and other local organizations in support of permitting proceedings
  • Participate in policy outreach efforts to government officials regarding regulatory and permitting issues
  • Assist in project development efforts representing the company at community events, landowner open houses and events, and at conferences
  • Work with Market Lead and Developers to provide field support to on a variety of project development and financial closing needs
  • Travel: 40-50%

 

What You'll Need:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree, or comparable communications, or public outreach experience
  • 1-3+ years of experience in the energy, non-profit, construction, real estate development, or related industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software; Excel, and PowerPoint, additionally, be comfortable working across multiple software platforms
  • Experience or knowledge of farming practices
