    Thompson is seeking  Intensive In-Home Lead to join our growing team. 

    Thompson is a leading provider of clinical and prevention services for children and families across North Carolina. The Charlotte, N.C. based, nationally accredited nonprofit agency changes the lives of at-risk children and families through early childhood services, family stability programs and mental health treatment. Thompson is growing, now with locations and services that stretch from Wilmington to Asheville.

    The Intensive In-Home (IIH) Lead serves as the leader for of a 3-person team, to provide direct and indirect intensive in-home services. The position requires being on-call on a rotating basis. The IIH Lead will be responsible for: documentation, supporting and leading team members, supervision of team member’s interventions, intervening in crisis situations, providing therapeutic interventions, living skills, and parenting skills training to help families. The Lead will aid with the implementation of home-based behavioral supports. The role requires someone who is passionate, a self-starter, assertive, disciplined, ethical and a great team player. Full or provisional licensed therapist in the state of NC (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LCAS and provisional equivalents will all be considered) required. Prior experience with youth & families in community-based services is strongly preferred. Prior experience and/or future interest in evidence-based models is a plus (CBT, TFCBT, PCIT, CPP, EMDR, etc).
