Juvare is currently seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our team of emergency management and software implementation experts. The key objective of this role is to lead and successfully manage an industry vertical of initiatives for Juvare’s clients. This individual will work closely with their professional services team, Juvare client success team and product engineering, leading cross-functionally to identify and mitigate risks to successfully deliver for our clients, on time and within budget.
A successful Program Manager at Juvare is a leader responsible for managing the scope, cost and schedule of software solution delivery from inception to completion. Able to abstract complex technical concepts in a way that allows joint problem solving with non-technical stakeholders, the Program Manager serves as the navigator and key decision maker for teams of technical emergency management subject matter experts. Reports to: Vice President, Professional Services
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Responsibilities:
- Serves as the primary contact and advisor to multiple clients during the delivery period for new client implementations and enhancement projects – project durations range from two weeks to continual
- Oversees a small-to-moderate sized staff of direct and indirect reports (varies, ranges from 5 to 20), maintaining high utilization
- Manages the scope of work, budget and go-lives, anticipating problems and complications formulating solutions proactively to not delay implementations
- Interact regularly with clients, managing expectations and communicating project progress
- Financial responsibility includes planning, budgeting, reporting and forecasting, partnering with Finance to properly report revenue
- Manages resource load across the team, matching skill sets to client needs
- Oversee professional services resources, monitoring and tracking performance. Provide feedback on the content and quality of deliverables as well as professional and career development
- Accountable for resolving escalations with a focus on maximizing positive client impact
- Closely work with the Client Success team to ensure growth and retention of client accounts, while managing scope of current implementations
- Assist the Sales and Client Success team with responses to Requests for Proposal and scoping new professional services work
- Partner with Product Engineering team on new integrations and enhancements required to meet statement of work scope
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7+ years technology project management experience required
- 3+ years software implementation/service experience required with excellent understanding of software development lifecycle
- PMP certification, Certified Scrum Master or SAFe Certification preferred
- Familiarity with NetSuite, JIRA and/or Confluence a plus
Skills/ Knowledge Requirements:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contracts, specifications and legal documents, translating into project requirements and execution plans
- Ability to effectively present information to all levels of the organization, internally and with the client, both in written and oral format
- Enthusiastic self-starter with advanced analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage customer escalations and deliver win-win outcomes

- Ability and willingness to travel to client or internal company sites when appropriate and legally permitted. Travel will vary from none to moderate (generally less than 25%), depending on the needs of the client
