Valley Caregiver Resource Center (VCRC) is seeking a mission-driven and strategic-minded Accounting Administrator to join its dynamic team in their north Fresno office. This position is responsible for co-managing the fiscal functions of the organization, directing, and analyzing financials. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Accounting Administrator works collaboratively with Program Managers to develop annual budgets, administer programs, operating budgets, and monitor cash flow. VCRC provides assistance to seniors and family caregivers with a wide array of services supporting the aging process. This is a position where you can make a positive difference!

 
Essential Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Co-manage operations of the accounting department
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Reconcile and provide monthly general journal entries for matching expenditures
  • Manage grant budgets and documentation; prepare annual budgets
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual grant reports
 
The desired candidate must possess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline preferred
  • Or, an equivalent combination of education and work experience in accounting/finance
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Experienced with the utilization of Excel spreadsheets, general ledgers, A/P and A/R
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to set fiscal operational standards
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure of competing deadlines
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A valid California Driver’s License
