Position Summary: Under the direction of the V.P. Sales, incumbent will manage the company’s image, outbound communications, social media, and lead generation.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

1.      Develop, manage and execute innovative communication strategies consistent with strategic and tactical business unit plans to increase market leadership position, visibility and generate quality leads.

2.      Create and manage Company’s web and social media content.

3.      Plan and execute the company’s trade show strategy.

4.      Ensure alignment and integration of key communication elements, including print, electronic, internet and trade shows in all communication campaigns.

5.      Prioritize and manage projects as well as develop, maintain and track budgets.

6.      Maintain consistency with corporate brand standards as well as Company’s and business unit positioning and messaging.

7.      Build business cases and detailed proposals for proposed marketing programs.

8.      Effectively produce and coordinate all marketing communication tools (brochures, data sheets, direct mail, tradeshow panels, promotional materials, presentations, web, etc.) including writing, artwork, photography, printing, mailing and tracking.

9.      Evaluate success (ROI/effectiveness/quality) of Marcom programs.

10.  Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors.

11.  Act as a strategic consultative partner within the company in developing communication strategies aligned with the global and local business strategies.

12.  Compile and create technical and operations manuals for new and existing products.

13.  Assist in identifying new customers and markets for Company products.

14.  Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

►      Education/Training: BA/BSc degree in English, Marketing, or equivalent experience

 

►      Experience: Minimum 3 years leading outbound marketing efforts, 3 – 5 years’ experience in a technical writing position

►      Skills/Technical Requirements:

•     Expert knowledge of publishing software including Microsoft Word, Visio and Adobe Acrobat. Experienced user of PowerPoint, Excel and photo editing software.

•     Strong interpersonal, communication and interviewing skills.

•     Solid knowledge of SEO and web analytic tools

•     Experience with Salesforce

•     Skilled illustrator, including line art drawing and photo editing.

•     Detail oriented with strong editorial skills. Must have command of the English language and outstanding grammar skills.

•     Ability to create clear and concise documentation for multiple audience levels.

•     Experience with HTML and web page development including on line help systems.

•     Capable of performing effectively in a team, or alone and unsupervised.

Job Conditions/Physical Demands: 

Office area and manufacturing area when collecting data. Some travel may be required. Prolonged periods of sitting at the computer terminal and the ability to use keyboard. Able to lift and carry >35 lbs. Ability to travel on occasion to tradeshows and other events.
