    Program Supervisor – A Child’s Place (Leader of Others)

    Thompson is seeking a strong, dynamic, and experienced Program Supervisor to help lead our growing A Child’s Place (Leader of Others) program.

     

    The Program Supervisor - A Child’s Place (Leader of Others)is responsible for daily operational oversight and performance of their respective program(s). Success will be primarily measured through three core data points: financial performance data, staff retention/engagement data, and program outcomes/quality data. Program supervisor are expected to model principles of the Leadership Pipeline as a Leader of Others.

    Responsibilities:

    ·         Proactive coaching and feedback to ensure professional development and growth of direct reports

    ·         Setting programmatic objectives, defining roles, and prioritizing tasks for direct reports

    ·         Effective proactive communication in all directions (up, down, sideways) to ensure program needs are met

    ·         Recruit, interview, and selection of top tier talent for their program staff

    ·         Conduct thorough and well-documented assessments of direct reports performance

    ·         Proactively address performance issues and replace team members who consistently fall short of delivering on their objectives

    ·         Create an open and trusting environment where teamwork and collaboration is valued

    ·         Compliance with the agency Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process to ensure program data and outcome goals are met

    ·         Ensure internal and external standards are met regarding records, documentation and general services provided

    ·         Coordinate and liaison with internal and external stakeholders to represent the program and its needs

    ·         Act as a role model across the organization for other staff regarding professionalism, positivity and teamwork

    ·         Respond and address to any client/parent/guardian complains/concerns

     

    Requirements:

    ·         Meet any credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards as it pertains to the program(s) they lead.

    ·         Master’s of Social Work degree.

    ·         3 years of work experience as a high performing individual contributor in a related field

    ·         Exposure to leadership/management experiences either through short term project management, coordination, training or actual leadership positions; Supervisory experience preferred.

    ·         Capacity/coachability for future growth and development as a leader.

    ·         Ability to respond effectively within and cope with an environment that can be extremely stressful on the mind and body.

    ·         Valid North Carolina driver’s license and clean driving record to occasionally drive agency vehicles as well as transport clients and therefore a valid driver’s license in the state of your residence.

    ·         All potential job candidates must pass a drug screening test and an extensive background check is required.
